I'm a Torontonian working as a Software Developer @ Google in Waterloo, Ontario. I started my career at the University of Waterloo, graduating Computer Engineering. I went down to the Bay Area for 2 years, working for Google, and now I'm back in the Toronto area. I am passionate about software development and hope to apply my expertise in making people's day-to-day lives easier, all while learning about new technologies.
I'm deeply interested in the technical aspect of my profession, and continue to find new ways to apply my skills to solve my own problems as demonstrated by my projects listed below.
An application to make it easier to remember and share links
I had first encounted golinks at my time at Google, working as a Software Engineer, Tools and Infrastructure. It is a link redirector but with specific names as links. I had thought that having this as a personal service with my own links would be a great tool to use when trying to remember obscure links and be easier to share.
An application to track chinese music I've come across on YouTube.
This contains 2 portions of the application; a chrome extension and a web application. The chrome extension will send a REST call to the api if it detects a chinese song from JoyRich. This in turn will allow me to manage new songs listened to, star the favourites and use the application as a music player.
